So I picked up Lavinia yesterday from the library. I read the entire book in one sitting, because it was that damned good. I had forgotten how much I love Ursula K. Le Guin.
I'm doing good! Nothing exciting to report; just working a lot to pay the bills, blargh. I sadly do not have a computer (the old laptop finally died for realz) which is why I'm never online these days. I do manage to sneak on and check my mail and flist on rare occasions, basically whenever I happen to stop by the library on the way to work and there is actually a free computer to use.
Not a whole lot is going on here - I've just been working and cooking and reading a lot. Same old, same old. ^__^ I haven't been online as much as I used to be, either. My husband's been laid off, and since he's home so much, I'm spending more time hanging out with him than with the computer. The writing's suffering for it, but I'm trying to work on that.
It sucks that you don't have a computer. I've really missed you around here. I hope you manage to slip online more regularly and maybe even get a new laptop soon. :hugs: It's so cool that you posted the day after I was thinking of you. ♥ It's like you heard me!
