See, for years now, I've owned a free copy of Devil May Cry 2 which I've never played. Today I figured, "Eh, why not?" since I just replayed the first one and figured I may as well finally play DMC2 for the sake of completeness. Despite the cries of protest from friends who warned it sucked, I started playing it this morning.

I can't say it's a horrible game by any means (I've played worse, and also went in with no expectations) but my biggest gripe is this: I'm on Mission 14 now and FUCK IF I STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE STORY IS IN THIS GAME.

Yeah...we played through the whole thing and I cannot tell you a SINGLE bit of plot. I think they made an attempt...but overall, it kind of failed. D: Oh well.

Incomprehensible plot aside, I do have another gripe about this game: Why isn't Dante a smartass? Where's the trash talk before boss fights?!
