Aw, I found Raiden lots of fun to play as; he's really agile, his cartwheels are damn silly, and he in general is a huge lamer. Plus, you know, he's not DUMB, he's just inexperienced, I think. XD; I liked MGS2 the best of the three games, and not because Raiden is SUCH A HAWT BISHIE OMGGGGGGGGG!!1111 You'll have to tell me if you feel the Raiden-hate, because I sure don't. :(

Dude, I was sold when I did my first super lame cartwheel! XD I was expecting not to like him because everyone I've talked to (aside from you) has told me he sucks, so it was a pleasant surprise to find out he's such a cute lamer. I snicker everytime he talks about VR training cuz he sounds so adorably inexperienced XDDD

I WILL say that teh whole 'Jack and Rose' thing? Aside from the initial chuckle at their names, it actually makes me want Mei Ling back. I'm annoyed at the lovey dovey nonsense that I have to sit through everytime I want to save my game.

Yeah, you know, though, i found the whole nonsense with Rose realistically squirm-inducing. It reminded me of being at parties where a couple is fighting and you have to sit through it. Also if you call her enough you'll get more funny anecdotes about their life together, like how they met and how Raiden's dorky and Rose can't cook and so on.

However, unlike Meryl, she's important to the plot and the game would suffer from taking her out of it. But you're not supposed to like her, I don't think. I don't know! But keep playing and trust me that she's interesting in a way, if not likeable.

I think that a lot of people missed the whole point of Raiden, which I will have to rant at you when you've finished the game because it's a spoiler. XD He's a SPARKLY BISHIE because, yes, they want girls to play the games and apparently girls won't do this without a BISHIE!!11 to ogle (...not that...Idon't...er...nevermind), but otherwise, I think Kojima's doing something really interesting with him. XD You'll see.

Yup, I will say that I like her better than Meryl. But that's not saying much. Hopefully she grows on me as I play more of the game. If not, well, that's why the X button is for!

And I'm sad at all the Raiden!hate now cuz he's such a big dork how could anyone NOT love him? I'll finish teh game as soon as I can so I can ramble with you about him! Anyways, I don't even like him just because he's a sparkly bishie; he's not even my type to be honest. I've never crushed on those guys who are SO pretty they're prettier than their girlfriends. XD;;;
